Americano Generator
Enter your players, get the full rotation: who partners whom, which court, who rests, every round — plus a printable score sheet. Free, no signup, works for padel and tennis.
How the schedule works
An Americano rotates partners every round so that everyone plays with — and against — everyone. Each round is a race to a fixed number of points (24 is standard), and every player banks their side's score individually. Most points at the end of the night wins. New to the format? FAQ
How many players do I need for an Americano?
Multiples of four are ideal (8 on two courts is the sweet spot). The generator supports 4 to 16 players — with odd counts or non-multiples of four, it rotates resting players fairly each round.
How many rounds should we play?
A full rotation is player count minus one rounds, so everyone partners everyone. For a two-hour session with 8 players, 7 rounds of 24 points is standard.
Does this work for tennis as well as padel?
Yes. The Americano format transfers directly to tennis doubles: same rotations, same point-per-rally scoring.
How do we track scores during the night?
Print the score sheet from this page, or run the same Americano in the free Rackt app — live scoring from every phone, automatic standings, and results that feed your group's ELO ranking.
